My TARDIS
Yeah, this is my other major prop obsession.
I have a full sized Police Box in my living room.
Some dear friends (Paul Sicard and Matt Pinsonneault, mainly) and my wonderful Husband, David, built her for me in Austin, Texas back in 2008. It took us two years and about $2,000.
She’s nine feet tall, about four foot wide and weighs about 1,000 pounds.
Her lights and sound effects are run by an onboard Mac Mini which can be controlled remotely. She also has a hidden webcam, which can be be pointed inside or outside depending on the crowd. She’s also been known to play music for people to dance to. . .

Close to a thousand people have had their picture taken with her.

Doctor Who producer Phil Collinson toured her (I was pleading with him not to sue me the whole time).
She was on PVP’s web site a while back.
